The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye has called on the executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be serious for once in their decisions.
According to him, ahead of the By-elections all indication were pointing out that the NDC and their executives were not ready for the by-election.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ programme, he maintained that the NDC was never ready for the by-election.
“Because of this by-eleciton, I relocated to the constituency to be able to monitor everything on the ground. We were there working with our team including the President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo. This shows how serious we were as a party for this by-election,” he recounted.
The NDC never even looked prepared for the by-election even on the day of voting.
The National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and National Organizer, Joshua Akamba were giving counter instructions as to whether their party members should be going out to vote or not.
“All these indications were pointing out to that Akamba and his boss were never ready for the Ayawaso West Woguon by-election, so how can you pretend and behave as if the NPP was responsible for your defeat,” he said.
He also asked everyone to ignore allegations that he sent out macho men to beat the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the NDC.
“It is untrue and a planned agenda orchestrated to tarnish my reputation,” he added.
